Breaking News – Four schools in Manchester have announced the formation of a joint Grammar School consortium.

The four schools are: Urmston Grammar, Altrincham Grammar School for Girls, Sale Grammar School and Stretford Grammar School. The joint consortium will ultimately run one single 11+ entrance examination for students who wish to apply to any of these schools. Parents can then request for the test results to be shared between all four schools for inclusion in their standardisation. The exam will be provided by CEM (Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring) in Maths, Verbal and Non-verbal Reasoning.
